Saving Big Bucks
If there is one thing I love, it’s finding a deal!
Today I needed to get some new ink-cartridges for my printer, and the first choice is always OfficeDepot, but that was throwing money away. So instead, I went hunting on the internet and came across a couple of GREAT websites that saved me some big bucks, and I just wanted to share them.
Step 1: Start the search at Bizrate.com, which will automatically scour the net for what you are looking for and get you all the online retailers, including their ratings and customer reviews (literally thousands and thousands per each retailer!).
Step 2: Once you find the cheapest deal, go to the website and see if they have any free shipping, bulk order, or special deals. I was looking for Ink, so I found the best to be InkSmile.com, and orders above $40 got free shipping, so I ordered 4 cartridges (who really wants to keep doing this?). Also, see if the site has taxes or not. InkSmile was totally tax free, which made me even happier.
Step 3: Find a coupon-hunting website. The best one I’ve seen is RetailMeNot.com, which allows you to search for the website and it brings up some great deals and all available coupons, including “success rates”!!! This will save you money on top of saving you money.
Step 4: Combine the cheapest deal, with added discounts from the site, then enter coupon or promo codes from the other website, and watch how much you save. It quite literally made my day!
…But please, enjoy responsibly.

Another good site to find online coupons at is Savings.com. Their search tool makes it easy to find coupons and deals for the product or merchant your searching for. The site is pretty dynamic, so the codes and deals are changed and updated all the time. Check it out if you get a chance.
