Financial Tech-Discrimination!
I’ve always heard that you need to run Windows if you’re going to be doing any sort of “business stuff” and that Mac’s just don’t have the software to meet most needs. I never believed it… until today.
I’ve been trying all day to find out what the best financial management program for Mac’s is, and so far it’s making me a bit frustrated. I’ve settled on Moneydance, but very reluctantly. It doesn’t have the power and support that I really need, especially in terms of coordinating and tracking my investments and for financial planning; but apparently it’s the closest I can get.
I did think about using Quicken 2007 (of course they haven’t yet released Quicken 2008 for the Mac!), but I didn’t find a hack for it, so I’m not going to use it. Me? Piracy? Yeah, get with the program. And speaking of programs, can someone please make some decent business software for the Mac?! Or at least get me a hack for Quicken.
PS. I in no way, shape, or form do condone piracy. Anything mentioned about piracy in this post is strictly for entertainment purposes and in no way true.*wink wink*UPDATE: I am now using Quicken 2007 for the Mac. Thanks Pirate Bay!
